The Moonliner II has landed!
With the support of the Kansas City Aviation Department, Signature Aviation, Belger Cartage Service, Inc., and our great volunteers, the Moonliner II took the short journey across the airfield on September 27th. Owner Dan Viets and Don Jourdan, who was involved in the rocket's restoration, were also on-hand to oversee the Moonliner's landing at the TWA Museum. The Museum will be hosting a celebration of the rocket's arrival at a future date. Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen, and special thanks to Mr. Viets for allowing our museum to display this treasure!
Last guided tour is at 2:45 PM; if you arrive after 3:00 PM, your tour will be limited to the main gallery if no museum guide is available.
