Join us for Moonliner II Day!
The TWA Museum requests your presence at the upcoming landing of the Moonliner II rocket ship. The massive rocket lands at 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 1st. Our guest of honor, Dan Viets, will be present to greet museum guests and autograph Moonliner posters (available for sale). Mr. Viets, a Columbia, Missouri attorney who is a Disney historian and author, purchased the Moonliner II in 1996. This rocket ship is a 32.5-foot-tall scale model replica of the Disneyland Moonliner, which was the centerpiece of the "Rocket to the Moon" attraction at Disneyland California. At 2:30 PM, Dan will be offering guests an in-depth presentation regarding the rocket’s history and restoration. November 1st Moonliner II Day offers a flat-rate admission charge of $10.00 for all visitors ($8.00 per child). Questions?
